Apple Pie Matcha

Apple pie matcha is a layered matcha latte made with an apple puree base and frothy milk. Heating the apples enhances their sweetness, creating a naturally sweet apple pie flavored matcha drink.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 medium apple or 2 small apples
  • ¼ tsp cinnamon
  • lemon, juiced
  • 2-4 g ceremonial grade matcha, sifted in 70 mL of 80C water
  • 150 mL unsweetened soy milk

Instructions
 Start Cooking 

  • Prep the apple layer according to my apple pie chips recipe: https://tamonde.com/2026/03/16/air-fryer-apple-pie-chips/
  • Blend about ½ cup - 1 cup of the apple pie chips with lemon juice. Add water if necessary to get it into a smooth consistency.
  • Layer by adding in the apple pie puree, followed by ice, milk, and the matcha on top. Garnish with an air-fried apple slice!

Notes

In order to get a frothy drink, froth the milk and gently pour the matcha on top to get layers.
