Vietnamese Shrimp Toast (Bánh Mì Nướng Tôm)

Vietnamese shrimp toast is an addicting, fun appetizer made with minced shrimp, cheese, and umami seasonings spread over baguette slices. This easy snack is quick to make in the air fryer and perfect for parties!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup shrimp, minced
  • 1 cup imitation crab, chopped
  • ½ cup green onion, chopped
  • 2 Tbsp mayonnaise
  • ½ cup mozzarella
  • 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
  • 1 Tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 Tbsp fish sauce
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 tsp chicken bouillon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 2 Thai chilis, minced (optional for spice)
  • 6 baguette slices

Instructions
 Start Cooking 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the minced shrimp, imitation crab, vegetables, and all seasonings. Mix until evenly combined.

  • Slice the baguette into even pieces. Spoon the shrimp mixture onto each slice, spreading it into an even layer.

  • Preheat an air fryer to 375°F. Arrange the shrimp toast and air fry for 12–15 minutes, or until the shrimp is fully cooked and the bread is golden and crisp.
