- 1 lb ground beef & pork mix
- 2 shallots, minced
- 2 green onions
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- 2 tsp chicken bouillon
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1½ tsp brown sugar
- 1 cup jicama, diced

- 2–3 tomatoes, diced
- ¼ onion
- 1 tbsp garlic
- 1 cup tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- ½ cup water
- 2 red chilies, minced (optional)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tbsp fish sauce
- Dash of black pepper
