🦐 Shrimp Balls
- 1 cup minced shrimp
- 1 tsp sea salt
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp chicken bouillon
- 2 tsp tapioca starch
🍲 Soup Base
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1.5 cups water
- 1.5 cups chicken stock
- 1 tsp sea salt
- ½ tbsp fish sauce
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp chicken bouillon
- Chinese mustard greens (to taste)
- Taiwanese spinach (to taste)
- Ground black pepper (to taste)
👩🍳 Directions
- Mince the shrimp into a paste and mix with sea salt, sugar, chicken bouillon, and tapioca starch.
- In a pot, sauté minced garlic in a bit of oil until fragrant. Add in water and chicken stock.
- Bring to a boil, then scoop the shrimp paste into small balls and gently drop them into the broth. Simmer for 3–5 minutes.
- Add in Chinese mustard greens and Taiwanese spinach along with the remaining seasonings (salt, fish sauce, sugar, bouillon, black pepper).
- Let simmer for 2–3 more minutes until greens are tender. Serve hot!
