Air Fryer Granola
How to make crispy, golden granola… and you just need to air fry for 15 minutes! I can never find a granola in-stores that’s low-sugar and has all the toppings I want. This is my simple, homemade alternative instead.
I love adding in nuts as a source of omega-3s, cinnamon for a bit of spice, and sweetening with a date syrup/puree instead of honey or sugar.
Making granola in the air fryer allows for even heat circulation, which helps it crisp without drying out. It’s perfect for topping yogurt bowls, smoothie bowls, or just as a quick snack to enjoy by the handful.

Air Fryer Granola
Ingredients
- 1.25 cups oats
- ¼ cup walnuts, crushed
- ¼ cup pecans, crushed
- 2 Tbsp almonds, sliced
- 2 Tbsp pumpkin seeds
- 2 Tbsp raisins
- 2 Tbsp cranberries
- 2 Tbsp unsweetened coconut flakes
- ¼ tsp cinnamon
- ⅛ tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
- ⅓ cup date syrup, or choice of sweetener (can be ¼ cup honey or agave)
Instructions Start Cooking
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper. Spread the granola mixture in an even layer, making sure it is not too tightly packed.

- Air fry at 320°F for 5 minutes. Remove the basket and stir the granola to ensure even browning.
- Return to the air fryer and cook for another 5 minutes at 320°F. Remove and stir again.
- Increase the temperature to 350°F and air fry for 5 more minutes, or until golden and fragrant. Watch closely to prevent burning.

- Remove from the air fryer and let cool completely (about 10–15 minutes). The granola will continue to crisp as it cools.
