Vietnamese Garlic Noodles with Steak

Vietnamese garlic noodles with steak are savory noodles tossed with lots of garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, fish sauce, and some butter. This noodle dish is easy and comes together quick for a weeknight meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz flank steak
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 Tbsp butter
  • 20 garlic cloves, minced
  • ½ cup green onions, chopped
  • ½ Tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp fish sauce
  • Choice of noodles, cooked

Instructions
 Start Cooking 

  • Season the beef evenly with salt and pepper. Heat butter in a large pan over medium heat. Add the beef and cook until about halfway done, 1–2 minutes per side. Transfer to a plate and set aside then cut into bite-sized pieces.

  • Using the same pan, add the garlic and sauté for about 30-60 seconds, until fragrant and slightly tan.

  • Add the green onions and cook for 30 seconds, stirring occasionally.

  • Add in the oyster sauce, soy sauce, and fish sauce. Cook for 30-60 seconds, allowing the sauce to heat through.
    ½ Tbsp oyster sauce, 1 Tbsp soy sauce, 1 Tbsp fish sauce
  • Return the beef to the pan and cook for 2 minutes, until just cooked through. Add the noodles and toss everything together for about 2 minutes, until the noodles are evenly coated and heated through.
